The Extractives Baraza together with the Open Society Initiative for Eastern Africa is organising a training workshop targeting the youth and youth entrepreneurs from learning institutions as well as those interested in the extractives industry in East Africa. This training will equip the participants with practical understanding of the extractives sector value chain and how to navigate and plug into the available opportunities. This will be a two-day interactive and thought provoking workshop where the participants will get to meet and network with other youth and key industry stakeholders from government, private sector and academia and have an opportunity to strengthen the participant’s competitive edge as an entrepreneur.

Potential trainees should send a Motivation Letter not more than two pages stating what they do, why they are interested in the training and how the training will impact their business and environment.
