Extractives Baraza conducted a two-day hybrid event with a day of training culminating in a high-level dialogue session which is the Youth Baraza. The training workshop is targeted at the Youth and Youth Entrepreneurs from learning institutions as well as those interested in the extractives industry in East Africa.

Extractives Baraza (EB) under Strathmore Extractives Industry Centre (SEIC), in partnership with the Judiciary Training Institute (JTI) and IDLO, conducted a 3-day training workshop for judges to strengthen their capacity regarding key legal aspects in the extractives sector.

The 5th Mining 4i was themed “Championing Innovation amongst African Youth at the Grassroots to Promote Sustainable Development in the Mining Sector”. The forum was partly sponsored by Base Titanium.
