The Common Fund for Commodities (CFC) has announced its twelfth call for proposals under the theme 'Funding Innovation'.
The organization provides financing to businesses and enterprises engaged in commodity value chains within its member states. Through a range of financial instruments, the CFC seeks to support business activities in the field of commodity development, including but not limited to agriculture, minerals and metals in developing countries.
The interventions should, besides giving a sound financial return, also provide for a measurable social and environmental return.
This is therefore to request the Ministry to share the call for proposal widely with relevant sakeholders. Full details including criteria and application forms can be found on the CFC website under 'Call For Proposal'.
The last date for receipt of application is 15th April 2018.
